Feeling like someone is always listening? Well, your new virtual assistant just might be.

The most downloaded app on Christmas Day was the Alexa companion app.

Voice recognition technology is certainly cool, and it’s convenient. However, you may not be comfortable having your conversations recorded in the privacy of your home or even your office.

Here are simple instructions on deleting those recordings:

Amazon Alexa: In the Alexa App > Settings > History > Delete Voice Recordings

Google Home: Google Account > Personal Info & Privacy > Manage Your Google Activity > Go to My Activity > Follow directions found in this article. https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/6030020…

Apple HomePod: At the moment, Apple erases “Hey, Siri” voice commands after analyzing them. Therefore, Apple HomePod owners do not have any stored history to delete.
