Title: IT Support Technician I

Status: Full Time

Location: Knoxville, TN

Job Summary:

The IT Support Technician I will provide daily helpdesk support and customer service to our contract customers regarding their hardware, software, network and any related computer systems devices. The technician will respond to customers via phone and/or electronically. Level I technician will follow standard helpdesk procedures and use our current IT ticketing software.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as IT Technician.
  • Able to work independently as well as a team.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work extended hours.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Tolerates stress in fast paced environment.
  • Perform troubleshooting to resolve problems.
  • Ability to repair or replace parts on systems.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification(s) related to IT Technician is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of Information Technology experienced preferred.
  • Willingness to work extended hours.
